We are Starting Point Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, the premier provider of pediatric dental care and orthodontics in Kansas City.
We’re the go-to choice for families, with three convenient locations and board-certified dentists and orthodontists with nearly two decades of experience.
Coming from a family of dentistry, Dr. Loseke completed her pre-med/dental program at Auburn University. She then completed her residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center for Pediatric Dentistry.
As a 2003 Graduate of the UMKC School of Dentistry, Dr. Roth decided to combine his knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and his passion for dentistry to pursue a career as an Orthodontist.

She joined Starting Point Dental in the summer of 2022 and has been an integral part of our growth. Her registered therapy dog Cooper accompanies her. Cooper comes to the office to help kids relax and take their minds off what can sometimes be a stressful visit to the dentist.
As a 2003 Graduate of the UMKC School of Dentistry, Dr. Roth decided to combine his knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and his passion for dentistry to pursue a career as an Orthodontist. The mechanics of using brackets and wires to move teeth into an aesthetic and functional smile was a natural transition.
After eight years of practicing Orthodontics In Kansas City exclusively, Dr. Roth became aware that his orthodontic patients had limited choices of pediatric dentistry providers and often had long wait times or difficulty scheduling. When he saw these delays and their effect on treatment, he returned to school one last time.
In 2015 Dr. Roth completed a specialty in Pediatric Dentistry at Children’s Hospital of Colorado – Denver. We now offer all the quality and convenience that families need and want from a dental practice.
Dr. Wright earned her bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Nebraska and graduated from UNMC dental school in 2024, completing her Pediatric Dentistry residency at UNMC in 2026.
Dr. Wright earned her bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Nebraska in 2020. She graduated dental school from UNMC in 2024 and completed her Pediatric Dentistry residency at UNMC in June of 2026. She is passionate about helping children feel comfortable and confident at the dentist.
Dr. Wright believes in building lasting relationships with families and working together to establish healthy habits that lead to lifelong smiles. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, traveling, and cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers!
