The length of treatment depends on several factors, including the extent of adjustments and how often someone wears their aligners throughout the day.
When considering braces, you want to explore all options to feel comfortable and confident while you’ or your child are undergoing treatment.
Clear aligners, such as Invisalign in Kansas City, offer an excellent and discreet solution for correcting alignment issues.
Clear Aligners or “trays” are the latest advancement in straightening teeth without the use of the traditional bracket and wire system known as braces. They are able to straighten and rotate teeth for simple orthodontic treatment.
How it Works
No impressions are required! We will take a digital scan of your teeth, and on our state-of-the-art aligner software, we will move your teeth in small steps. Each aligner you receive will move your teeth closer to their ideal position. A typical treatment consists of 20-25 sets of trays, each worn for 2-3 weeks.
An added benefit of aligners is that you can whiten while you straighten. We have whitening available that can be used inside your trays during the day or evening.
What to Expect
Each tray will progress your treatment a step at a time. Your orthodontist will monitor your progression and make adjustments along the way.
If you are an adult who had treatment as a teen and your teeth have shifted, we can help you get your alignment back! Because you already had treatment that corrected your bite, we should be able to straighten your teeth with fewer trays and lower costs than receiving treatment the first time. Remember, consults are always free.
